The Tribe Must Survive takes place in a world that is an amalgamation of the Stone Age infused with Lovecraftian horrors. In it, you will be given the task of building a tribe and being its leader. You will start from the ground up, collecting the necessary resources and materials to craft tools that will enable you to build structures like houses and towers.
As alluded to earlier, the game includes social dynamics into the experience as members of your tribe each have their own unique personality and will to do whatever they want—for better or worse. Manipulate them with all sorts of things, from rituals to technology, or simply through force. Each tribe is different, and you will need to decide carefully as you establish more of them.
Nightfall is when things are the most dangerous as predators prowl in search of food. In addition, the darkness is home to all kinds of otherworldly monstrosities looking for the same. It's your duty to keep them safe and alive by whatever means necessary. Now, just be aware that the game is still in early access, so development is still ongoing.
Whatever it takes
If you're looking for a survival game to check out with a twist, then The Tribe Must Survive is a release worth looking into. It has an interesting premise and setting that pairs well with challenging survival gameplay and even some strategic elements mixed in. Hopefully, the full game releases sooner rather than later.
